It is contended by the petitioner that subsequent to the earlier rejection, copies of the Aadhaar Card and Ration Card were submitted along with a fresh application.

Mr. S.C. Mishra, disputes such contention.

The concerned authority shall take into consideration the documents to be produced by the petitioner.

Needless to mention that, if the petitioner is required to file a fresh application or comply with any other formality, the petitioner shall do so.

If the petitioner is not entitled to get the connection, reasons shall be disclosed. However, if the petitioner is, prima facie found to be in possession of the land in question as is evident from the ration card and Aadhar card, there is no reason why the prayer for electric connection should be rejected.

However, this order or grant of such connection shall never be construed as an opinion on the right, title and interest of the petitioner in respect of the premise in question. The entire issue shall be decided and disposed of within two months from the date of communication of this order.
