The Andaman & Nicobar Administration and others Mr. Lakshman ... for the petitioner Mr. Tulsi Lall Mr. Rakesh Kumar ... for the respondents April 28, 2023 (Bithika) Item No.19 Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has applied for grant of electric connection in the premises of the petitioner standing in survey No. 108/P, measuring an area of 150 sq. meters situated at Kamal Basti, Campbell Bay village under Nicobar District before the authority on 13.04.2023 but on the same date the authority has rejected the application of the petitioner on the ground that connection in encroachment land cannot be provided till fresh order received from Superintendent Engineer, Port Blair. The ground on which the application of the petitioner was rejected lacks of reason. Accordingly the order of rejection is set aside.

Respondent No. 3 is directed to provide electric connection in the premises of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order in compliance of all formalities. WPA No. 705 of 2023 is disposed of.
