The Assistant Commissioner Settlement and another Ms. Supreet Sharma ... for the petitioner Ms. Babita Das ... for the respondents November 6, 2025 [SR] Item No. 9 The petitioner prays for demarcation of the land bearing survey Nos. 11, 15, 18, 51, 58, 60, 185, 53, 55, 68, 79,80 40, 67 and 83 situated at Wandoor Village under Ferrargunj Tehsil, South Andaman District.

The writ petition is disposed of, directing the concerned authority to consider and dispose of such prayer of the petitioner.

This Court has not expressed any view. The concerned authority shall dispose of the demarcation application which is pending and shall take necessary steps, in accordance with law. While doing so, the Tehsildar shall hear the petitioner and consider all documents. Hearing shall also be given to other interested persons.

Ms. Babita Das, contends that the application was filed only on 24th October, 2025 and some time will be required to complete the process.
