Mr. Manoj Paul, petitioner appears in person. He submits that the authorities are harassing the petitioner by lodging false and frivolous FIRs against him thereby compelling the petitioner to appear physically before the concerned Investigating Officer, at Andaman and Nicobar Islands again and again.

On a query of the Court, Mr. Paul submits that in this writ petition, no particulars of any FIR registered against the petitioner has been mentioned. He also submits that he is not aware of any FIR being registered against him at present. The petitioner has prayed for issuance of a mandamus upon the respondent authorities to permit the petitioner to join and participate in any investigation through video conferencing mode for any FIR in future which are politically motivated. No particulars of any FIR has been mentioned in this petition.

Such a blanket relief cannot be granted to the petitioner merely on the basis of apprehension that politically motivated FIRs may be registered to harass him. It will, however, be open to the petitioner to approach the proper forum for appropriate relief in accordance with law, if the occasion so arises. With the above observations, WPA/511/2025 stands disposed of.

Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegations contained in the writ petition shall not be deemed to have been admitted by the respondent authorities.
