The petitioner claims to be the recorded owner of the land bearing survey nos.1208 and 1209 measuring approximately an area of about 400 sq.mtrs located at Calicut Village under Sri Vijaya Puram Tehsil.

The petitioner, therefore, made an application for demarcation of his land on 16th June, 2025 before the Tehsildar (Settlement), South Andaman District, Sri Vijaya Puram. However, the said representation is pending consideration till date and therefore, the present writ petition has been filed. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is given to the Tehsildar( Settlement), South Andaman District, Sri Vijaya Puram to dispose of the representation dated 16th June, 2025 within a specified period of time.

After considering the pleadings, this writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the Tehsildar ( Settlement) Sri Vijaya Puram to dispose of the representation dated 16th June, 2025 made by the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified true copy of this order. Thereafter, the outcome of such consideration shall be communicated to the petitioner forthwith With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Hon'ble Court.
