The petitioner is aggrieved that the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman is not disposing of his application for sub-division of the land between the family members.

The said proceeding being RC NO.25/GIS/2018/DC(SA)/ 3661 is pending for more than six years.

This Court therefore directs the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman to pass final orders on the petitioner's application for sub-division as indicated above mandatorily and positively within a period of four months from the date of communication of this order.

The Registry shall communicate the copy of this order to the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman.

With the above direction, the writ petition is allowed and disposed of without any order as to costs.
