The petitioner claims that he ought to be treated at par with the Higher Grade Clerk in the Circuit Bench of Calcutta High Court at Port Blair.

In the Principal Bench, the Data Entry Operator in the Computer Section has a promotional avenue to the post of System Analyst.

The request of the petitioner appears to have support of the Principal Bench, Registry of the Circuit Bench as also the Andaman and Nicobar Administration. The petitioner has made a detailed representation, inter alia, 27th September,

2022 and the reminder by a communications dated 14th November, 2022 and 17th November, 2022.

It is therefore directed that the Registrar General, High Court at Calcutta shall place the representations of the writ petitioner before the Administrative Committee of the High Court at Calcutta and a suitable decision may be taken within a period of two months from date.

The Registry of this Circuit shall take necessary steps. WPA/728/2022 stands disposed of.
