This Court, by an order dated 29th September, 2023 in AP/6/2023, appointed the Hon'ble Justice Subrata Talukdar (Retired), as the sole Arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes between the parties.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, after completing the pleadings including evidences, the matter was posted for final argument on 30th and 31st August, 2025. However, there was a change in the panel of counsel appearing for the respondents and therefore a request was made to postpone the final hearing.

Upon consideration of the submissions made by the respondents, the Arbitrator fixed the final hearing date on 31st January, 2026 and 1st February, 2026.

In that view of the matter, the parties were requested to take steps before this Court to extend the mandate of the Tribunal as per law. It is, therefore, submitted that a reasonable period of time may be extended allowing the arbitration between the parties to come to its logical end.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents has also no objection for extension of time.

After considering the submissions of learned counsel appearing for both the petitioner and the respondents and also taking into consideration that the date for final arguments has been fixed on 31st January, 2026 and 1st February, 2026, the mandate of the Tribunal is accordingly extended upto 30th June, 2026.

The arbitration petition is accordingly disposed of. Parties to act on the server copy of this order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
