for the State January 13, 2026 [SR] Item No.19 This is an application for bail under section 483 of Bharatiya Nagrik Surksha Sanhita, 2023 (in short BNSS). In this application filed after the petitioner's bail application was rejected by the Learned Special Judge (NDPS) at Mayabunder. On 1st December, 2025, the petitioner was released on an interim bail, subject to the conditions laid down therein. It appears that the petitioner has cooperated with the investigation and has also met the Investigating Officer as and when required. The petitioner has also fulfilled all the other conditions as laid down in the order dated 1st December, 2025 by which he was granted interim bail. The charge sheet has been filed.

In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this application is disposed of by allowing the interim bail on the conditions laid down in the order dated 1st December, 2025 to continue till 28th February, 2026. The grant of the interim bail shall not be construed to be an expression of opinion on the merits of the case. The petitioner in the meantime shall approach the Trial Court for the bail in accordance with the law, if necessary by surrendering before the trial Court. The Trial Court shall, if approached deal with the bail application before it on merits

without being influenced by any observation made by this Court.

The application being CRM(NDPS)/13/2025 is accordingly disposed of.
