The petitioner's application seeking electricity connection stood rejected by the order passed by the Electricity CGRF vide order dated 11.10.2024 on the ground that the petitioner failed to provide documents required under the JERC Regulation to prove ownership or occupancy in respect of the land where electricity connection has been sought for.

The forum was of the opinion that the petitioner can approach the Electricity Department after obtaining proper land records for the separate connection in the same premises. 3.

The instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to take steps in terms of the order passed by the Electricity CGRF on 11.10.2024.

The order passed by the Electricity CGRF dated 11.10.2024 handed over by the learned advocate representing the Electricity Department be retained with the records.

The writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs. 6.
