Sabir .... for the petitioner Mr. Srinivas Naidu ... for the respondent [on behalf Mr. Rakesh Kumar] December 11, 2025 [SR] Item No. 11 The petitioner claims to have supplied sports goods, music items pursuant to the various orders issued by the Panchayat Authority. The petitioner claims to have submitted the bills in respect of the materials supplied by the petitioner. Since, according to the petitioner, no payments against such bills were released by the respondent authority, the petitioner submitted a demand notice dated June 16, 2025 before the Pradhan of the Gram Panchayat, Hut Bay. The grievance of the petitioner is that, in spite of receipt of such representation, the authority has not yet released the payment as against the said bills.

Heard the learned advocate for the respondent. Since the petitioner has submitted a representation alleging that the payments against certain bills already submitted by the petitioner has not yet been released, this Court feels that interest of justice would be sub-served, if the respondent authority is directed to consider the representation

of the petitioner dated June 16, 2025 within the stipulated time limit framed.

In the light of submissions made by the learned advocates for the respective parties, WPA/587/2025 stands disposed of by directing the Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Hut Bay to consider the representation of the petitioner dated June 16, 2025 and to dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order and communicate such order as expeditiously as possible but positively within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of server copy of this order along with the copy of the representation dated June 16, 2025.

In the event any amount is found due to the petitioner, steps for releasing such payment shall be taken immediately thereafter.

There shall however be no order as to costs.
