Zinu ... for the petitioner Mr. Shatadru Chakraborty Mr. Dibesh Dwivedi ... for the respondents October 1, 2024 [SR] Item No.35 The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the failure of the respondent Administration to release the death benefits in respect of the deceased i.e. Dr. Sameer Sharma. It is submitted on the behalf of the petitioner that despite her husband having expired as far as back 4 March 2015, the respondent Administration has failed and neglected to make payment of any of the death benefits to the petitioner. The private respondent no. 3 and 4 are represented. It is submitted on their behalf they are the mother and father of the deceased husband and any statutory payments to which they are entitled should be provided to them by the Administration.

In view of the above, WPA/834/2023 stands disposed of by directing the respondent Administration to make payment to the petitioner and the private respondent depending on their respective legal entitlements and death benefits in respect of Dr. Sameer Sharma within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.
