Contempt is alleged of the order dated 13th November, 2024.

Ms. Anjili Nag, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the alleged contemnors has submitted that the order in question has been complied with by the alleged contemnors.

It is confirmed by Ms. Binita Devi, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner that telephone connection has been restored last week. She, however, does not have any information as to whether the costs of Rs.50,000/- has been deposited with the Registrar, High Court of Calcutta, Circuit Bench at Port Blair. 4.

Ms. Nag, learned Counsel for the alleged contemnors submits that a sum of Rs.50,000/- has

been deposited by way of Cheque No.204543 dated 19.11.2024 drawn on Union Bank of India, Port Blair Branch.

In those circumstances, nothing further remains to be decided in this contempt application. The instant contempt application shall stand disposed of. 6.

The applicant is free to proceed for execution of the order passed by the Consumer Forum and the Registrar, High Court of Calcutta, Circuit Bench at Port Blair shall comply with any requisition of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, A & N Islands at Port Blair.

Needless to mention that DCDRC, A & N Islands at Port Blair shall first dispose of the BSNL's application under Order IX, Rule 13 of the Code of Civil Procedure.

Rule, if any, shall stand discharged.

9.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
