The Superintending Engineer and another Mr. R. Arul Peter ... for the petitioner Mr. Tulsi Lal ... for the respondents August 17, 2023 [SR] Item No.7 The petitioner seeks consideration of her on-line application filed on 27th April, 2023 to avail power supply over the encroached land.

As it appears that the application of the petitioner is pending consideration at the end of the respondent authority accordingly no useful purpose will be served by keeping the writ petition pending.

The writ petition is disposed of by directing the Assistant Engineer, Electricity Department, Rangat being the respondent no.2 herein, to consider and dispose of the application filed by the petitioner in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the on-line application dated 27th April,

to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

The writ petition being WPA/856/2023 stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
