The writ application has been preferred praying for direction upon the respondent administration, more specifically the respondent No.1 and 2 to issue offer of appointment to the petitioner to the post of assistant Store Keeper under the respondent No.4 or to issue offer of appointment to the petitioner to the post of Field Assistant under the respondent No.6 in terms of the vacancy notice dated 29.04.2023 followed by the reserved waiting list dated 18.10.2024 issued by the Andaman and Nicobar Administration.

In course of hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's grievance at this stage shall be met if his representation dated 26.11.2025 to the respondent No.1 is considered in accordance with law within a time frame.

The petitioner's case appears to be that, in the waiting list she is ranked at number 16. It is further stated that as per her knowledge, 14 of the wait listed candidate have already been given offers of appointment, out of which the candidates at no. 1 and 2 have refused such offer, and as such the petitioner has

made a representation to the authority concerned to consider her for appointment against the post which have been refused by wait listed candidates 1 and 2.

None of these facts are admitted by the respondents/administration at this stage, who shall consider the representation based on materials on record. 5.

On hearing the learned counsels for the parties and on perusal of the materials on record, the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the authority concerned shall consider and dispose of the said representation dated 26.11.2025 submitted by the writ petitioner on hearing all stakeholders and pass a reasoned order in accordance with law, within thirty days from the date of communication of this order. 6.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of along with all connected application, if any.
