In the said writ petition, the writ petitioners challenged an order dated 6th November, 2020 by which the business of the petitioners was suspended for a period of two years from date of the order i.e. till 5th November, 2022.

In course of hearing Mr. Kumar, learned advocate appearing for the writ petitioners/respondents herein submits that as the period of suspension has already expired, nothing remains to be decided in the present appeal.

The fact that the order of suspension challenged in the writ petition was operative for a period of two years i.e. till 5th November, 2022 has not been disputed by Mr. Chakraborty, learned advocate appearing for the Administration. In view thereof, the appeal itself has become infructuous and the same along with the connected application are dismissed. There shall, however, no order as to costs.
