No affidavit-in-opposition has been filed on behalf of the respondents. The matter is taken up for hearing. The learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that in spite of an application for electrical connection being made on 21.09.2024 the respondents i.e. electricity authority has not disposed the said application till date, as such, the petitioner has been compelled to approach this court seeking direction upon the respondent to dispose of the representation and to provide electricity.

The learned counsel representing the respondent has been candid enough to submit that the said application filed by the petitioner shall be disposed of by the electricity authority at the earliest.

Considering the writ application and the submission of the learned counsels this court directs the respondent to consider the application dated 21.09.2024 filed by the writ petitioner and to pass a reasoned order within four weeks from the date of communication of this order to the respondent. The writ petition is thus disposed of.
