The Deputy Commissioner Ms. Anjili Nag ... for the petitioner Mr. V.D.Sivabalan ... for the respondents August 16, 2023 (SR) Item No.35 The petitioner prays for a direction upon the Deputy Commissioner, North and Middle Andaman, Mayabunder for consideration of his representation seeking correction of map and area in land recorded in the sketch map. The said representation was received by the office of the respondent authority on 03rd May, 2023 and it is pending consideration till date.

Without going into the merit of the claim made by the petitioner in the representation filed before the respondent authority, the instant representation is disposed of by directing the respondent authority to consider and take a decision on the representation filed by the petitioner in accordance with law, after giving a reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties and to pass a reasoned order at the earliest but positively with eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. The reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

It is made clear that all points are left open to be decided by the respondent authority in accordance with law. Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation dated 03rd May, 2023 along with all documents in support of his claim to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of this Court.

The writ petition being WPA/868/2023 stands disposed of.
