The Petitioner has preferred the present Writ application praying for an order directing the transfer of the investigation from the offices of A & N Police to the Central Bureau of Investigation, Port Blair.

Admittedly, the investigation in the said case has ended in a charge sheet submitted on 31st October, 2023 for offence punishable under section 363/302/376/377/34 IPC and section 5(m)/6 of the POCSO Act.

It is submitted that 21st December, 2023 has been fixed for consideration and framing of charge. Accordingly, as the investigation in the said case is already complete the

relief prayed for has now become infructuous. Accordingly, the present Writ application is disposed of as infructuous. [Shampa Dutt (Paul), J.]
