Respondent Ms. Anjili Nag ... for the petitioner Mr. V.D.Sivabalan Mr. A.S.Kumar ... for the respondents December 23, 2022 [SR] Item No.2 The petitioner is aggrieved that the Tehsildar, Port Blair has not taken any steps for mutation despite a decree in T.S.No.27 of 2017 passed by the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division) at Port Blair.

Admittedly, the partition is between the family members. The final decree dated 8.09.2022 has been passed by the Court after the initial preliminary decree and the Tehsildar having been appointed as Commissioner for partition. The final decree is based on the Tehsildar's report. In view of the above, this Court directs the Tehsildar, Port Blair, within a period of three weeks from the date of communication of this order, to effect mutation of the property strictly in terms of the final decree of partition amongst the beneficiaries therein.

WPA/954/2022 stands disposed of.
