1. This is an application for expeditious disposal of the OA/2030/2022.
2. In spite of service, the respondent/applicant is not represented. The affidavit of service is taken on record.
3. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the interim order passed by the Tribunal on 24th February, 2023 by which the Administration was restrained to give effect to the transfer order, which is causing immense difficulty to the Administration.
4. It appears that the impugned order dated 5th January, 2023 was passed in favour of the applicant upon hearing the learned counsel for the parties. The respondent authorities have been restrained from relieving the applicant from her present place of posting.
5. In view of the fact that the interim order has been extended from time to time, we are not inclined to interfere with the initial order of injunction restraining
the respondent authorities from giving effect to the transfer order. However, we feel that the original application is required to be heard as expeditiously as possible.
6. Accordingly, we request the Central Administrative Tribunal to dispose of the OA/2030/2022 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four months from the date of communication of this order by the writ petitioner.
7. In view of the fact that the respondent is not represented, we direct the petitioner to serve a copy of this order upon the respondent by speed post with acknowledgement due in course of this week.
8. The writ petition is accordingly disposed on the aforesaid terms, however, there shall be no order as to costs.
9. We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the matter.
