The petitioner prays for consideration of the objection filed before the Secretary (Revenue), Andaman and Nicobar Administration in respect of the land which is partially occupied by the petitioner along with others.

The said objection was filed in response to the report dated 19.09.2022 by the Tehsildar, Port Blair. 3.

Without entering into the claim of the petitioners, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Secretary (Revenue), Andaman and Nicobar Administration to consider and dispose of the objection filed by the petitioners in accordance with law after giving a reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties at the earliest but positively within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The aforesaid respondent authority shall pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to the parties immediately thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs. 6.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of usual formalities. ( Amrita Sinha, J. )
