Affidavit of service filed be kept with the record. The petitioner's case is that vide a licence issued by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Middle and North Andaman, Mayabunder, the petitioner was given a licence to occupy the agricultural land as per description given in the said licence. The licence was issued on the 30th day of December, 2003 and the petitioner was directed to take physical possession of the said land within a specific period. It is submitted that inspite of being present as directed, the authorities have not handed over the physical possession of the said land, though the petitioner had vacated his unauthorized occupation of the Government land in lieu of such licence.

A mass written representation has been made to the Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor, Andaman and Nicobar Islands on 21st day of July, 2023 by the affected parties. It is now submitted that inspite of their representation, there has been no action from the side of the respondents till date.

On hearing the petitioner and the respondents, the respondents herein are directed to dispose of the mass representation dated 21st July, 2023 within a period of two months from the date of this order.

The representation shall be considered on hearing the applicant/writ petitioner and shall be decided/acted upon on the basis of the documents on record and in accordance with law.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of usual formalities.
