The Lieutenant Governor and others Mr. M.K.Thakur ... for the petitioner Mr. V.D.Sivabalan ... for the respondents January 31, 2024 [SR] Item No.12 The petitioner is aggrieved by the action on the part of the private respondent in removing the dust bin and installing a water tank in its place. The petitioner is also aggrieved by in action on the part of the respondents/Administration in not paying any heed to the petitioner's complaint. The records indicate that the petitioner made a lone representation to the Lieutenant Governor of the islands on 28th October, 2023 and that the said representation has not been responded till date.

The police authorities are represented and learned counsel submits that the petitioner is yet to make a formal representation/complaint to the proper authority, which in this case, the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman District. This Court deems fit to record the submission made on behalf of the petitioner that the land belongs to the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman District of the Administration. WPA/1063/2023 is accordingly disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman District with a proper complaint/representation. The Deputy Commissioner will dispose of the representation/complaint within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such complaint.
