Learned counsel appearing for the respondent had submitted on the last date i.e. 31st January, 2024, that the alleged contemnor had already complied with the direction contained in the order in contempt dated 24th November, 2022.

By the order in contempt, the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman had been directed to dispose of the writ petition made by the petitioner.

The order dated 23rd January, 2024 placed before this Court shows that the representation was disposed of by this order on that date.

Hence, nothing remains of the contempt proceeding in view of such compliance.

CPAN/60/2023 is disposed of in terms of the above. ( Moushumi Bhattacharya, J. )
