By the said order, this Court directed the authority to reconsider the case of the petitioner afresh in the light of the observations made therein and the entire exercise to be completed within six weeks from the date of the communication of this order.

The affidavit-of-compliance filed today reveals that the authority have passed an order being order No. 2549 dated 15th December, 2023 disposing of the proceeding. Though, we find there is a delay in completing the exercise as indicated in the said judgment and order dated 25.09.2023 but the moment

a decision has been taken, we do not think that there is any justification in pursuing the contempt petition. If the petitioner in the instant contempt application is still feeling aggrieved by the said order No. 2549, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the same before the appropriate forum.

In such view of the matter, the contempt application is dismissed.
