The suit is pending before the learned Additional Civil Judge Junior Division, Port Blair. It is contended by Mr. Jayapal that the suit is at the stage of evidence.
The defendant no.1 in the suit is the petitioner. The prayer is reasonable. The suit is pending since long. A direction for expeditious disposal of any litigation enures to the benefits to all the parties. Hence, service of prior notice of this revisional application is not necessary. The revisional application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned Court below to dispose of the suit along with all pending applications within a period of six months from the next date fixed.
It is made clear that this Court has neither gone into the merits of applications nor into the merits of the suit. Learned Court shall dispose of the said suit expeditiously, in
accordance with law, upon giving adequate opportunity to all the parties.
The revisional application is disposed of.
