Shri Kulkarni, the learned counsel for the petitioners, states that while admitting the petition and confirming the interim relief in favour of the petitioners, they were directed to deposit the rent till date within two weeks. He states that they have been depositing the rent every month as per the direction of this Court. He seeks permission to deposit the rent for the year 2020-2021 by way of a lump-sum, in this Court. Let such amount as undertaken, be deposited within four weeks from today.

Shri Kulkarni further states that he has no objection if the amount is permitted to be withdrawn.

In the wake of the said statement, upon the amount being deposited, it shall be permitted to be withdrawn by the respondents.

The Writ Petition is of the year 2001 and deserves an early hearing. List the Writ Petition for final hearing in the week commencing from 21.03.2022.
