Heard Ms. Trivedi, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr. Vanarase, learned AGP for Respondent-State. 2.

The impugned order in the present Writ Petition is the order dated 21st June 2004 passed by the learned Member, the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Mumbai in Application No.3500 of 1996.

Ms. Trivedi, learned counsel states that the First Appeal is maintainable against the said order. She further states that, she has filed appearance in this matter in 2022. She seeks leave to amend and convert the Writ Petition into First Appeal.

The Writ Petition is of the year 2005 challenging the order dated 21st June 2004. Therefore, in the facts and circumstances of this case and in the interest of justice, leave is granted to convert the Writ Petition into First Appeal.

Amendment be carried out within a period of six weeks from today.
