The learned Government Pleader Mr.Vagyani draws our attention to the letter dated 2nd July, 2017, addressed by Mr.Raju Narpande, Desk Officer (Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department), Government of Maharashtra to the Registrar (Administration), State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, Mumbai, in which letter it has been stated that the amount of salary and the difference i.e. Rs.25,46,697/- and Rs.2,85,24,801/- making the total of Rs.3,10,71,498/- has been made available to the State Commission by the decision of the State Government under reference. It is further mentioned in the said letter that the said amounts can be disbursed to the concerned expeditiously.

We enquired from the learned Government Pleader as to within what time the amounts will be disbursed as a particular procedure is required to be followed. The learned Government Pleader assured us that the amounts would be disbursed within a maximum period of 4 weeks from date.

We, therefore, defer the hearing of the above Petition to 7th August, 2018. The letter dated 2nd July, 2018 of Mr.Raju Narpande, is taken on record and marked as 'X' for identification. 4.

Leave to amend is granted so as to correct the name of the Petitioner No.1 in Writ Petition No.1213 of 2017 from Ravindra Pandurang Mhetras to Ravindra Dattatray Mhetras. Amendment to be carried out forthwith.

Stand over to 7th August, 2018.
