The Civil Appeal is pending before the learned Principal District Judge, Pune for no reason for past more than 14 years. Notice of today's mentioning is given. The only grievance expressed by Dr. Chandrachud on behalf of Appellant is that on 15.12.2025, the interim relief which was specifically granted by this Court in the year 2019 (12.07.2019) was vacated.

It appears that the Court has also expressed its opinion about maintainability of the Appeal but no point will be served on hearing

P2.AO.235.2026+.doc the same since parties can undoubtedly be relegated before the Appeal Court. Respondents shall take appropriate instructions and accordingly apprise this Court.

It is seen that Mr. Kanetkar, learned Advocate has appeared previously for Respondents. If he is still representing and espousing cause of Respondents, he is directed to remain present. Considering Appeal is pending for past 14 years, this Court proposes to direct Regular Civil Appeal to be heard and decided expeditiously which shall be noted by the parties.

In so far as Interim Application against which the present Appeal from Order is filed, same pertains only to issue of nomenclature which can be undoubtedly decided by Trial Court alongwith the Regular Civil Appeal.
