APRIL 24, 2024 APRIL 24, 2024 (1) The only ground raised for review of the judgment dated 05/11/2019, according to Mr. Chandurkar, learned Counsel for the Review Applicant, is that the original Petitioners had not challenged the receipt of the compensation in lieu of employment as per the original R. & R. Policy of 2008, and therefore, were not entitled to the additional compensation in lieu of the employment, as envisaged by the Liberalized R. & R. Policy dated 29/03/2011. This position, has already been considered in the judgment dated 05/11/2019 passed in Writ Petition No. 6427/2017, in Paragraph No. 3, by relying upon a similar challenge in respect of the Resolution passed by the

State for enhancing the compensation, in Writ Petition No. 4722/2014 (Sau. Sunita vs. WCL) decided on 08/06/2015, challenge to which has been rejected by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP No(s). 11499-11500/2017 decided on 23/10/2019, considering which, we do no see any ground for review being made out.

(2) The Review Application is, therefore, dismissed. CONTEMPT PETITION NO. 91/2021 (1) An amount of Rs. 43,74,364/- is stated to have been deposited in this Court on account of enhanced compensation in lieu of the employment receivable by the Petitioners under the Liberalized R. & R. Policy dated 29/03/2011. The quantum of the amount is being disputed by Ms. Satpute, learned Counsel for the Petitioners, on the ground that it does not calculate the interest in terms of the judgment dated 05/11/2019.

(2) She is, therefore, directed to place on record the calculations of the interest in terms of the above judgment by 02/05/2024.

(3) In the meantime, since the entitlement of the Petitioners to the aforesaid amount is not being disputed, the same be

transferred in the accounts of the Petitioners in equal proportion in case their RTGS details are submitted to the Registry of this Court.

(4) List the matter on 02/05/2024.
