2) On 13/03/2024, this Court having regard to the Minutes dated 23/01/2024 recorded by the Committee headed by the Dean, Government Medical College, Nagpur, directed the State Government to place its response after studying the said Minutes.

3) The said Committee is consisting of the Medical Experts from the Central India, who are from various Branches of Medicine. The Committee noticed that the building of 16 floors with each floor carpet area of 28000 sq.ft. can be constructed so as to cater the need of the patients including that of a SuperSpeciality Branch human organ transplant. 4) The said Committee further observed that the project cost will not be less than Rs.500 Crores and as such it is for the State Government to look into the said issue and also the KOLHE

2 917-PIL 41.2019.odt use of public utility land which is located in the heart of the Nagpur City, which is also now identified as one of the Medical Hubs for catering the need of the patients from adjoining States like Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh etc.

5) In response to the Court's query, the learned Additional Government Pleader Mr. Thakre submits that the issue is presently pending for consideration before the Chief Secretary and the response is awaited.

6) The statement made by respondent No.5 - NIT that in compliance of the order dated 13/03/2024, the said property is already secured, is accepted and taken on record. 7) As far as the use of the land in question for the purpose of establishment of a Hospital as is recommended by the Expert Committee as could be inferred from the Minutes dated 23/01/2024, the State Government is directed to look into the same.

8) As such, we further direct the Chief Secretary to place his response before this Court within a period of eight weeks from today.
