In view of the affidavit dated 16th April, 2025, we deem it appropriate to permit the respondent-NIT to complete the formalities in the matter of the disposal of the land in terms of Rules 5 and 20 of the Nagpur Improvement Trust Land Disposal Rules, 1983. We are informed that such disposal shall be subject to the prior approval of the State Government. 3.

We defer the hearing of the present Public Interest Litigation by three months so as to enable Nagpur Improvement Trust to place on record an affidavit in the matters of steps taken for disposal of the land in question along with the proposal which is intended to be submitted before the State Government.

The aforesaid order is passed in view of the stand of the Nagpur Improvement Trust as reflected in paragraph nos.9, 10, 11 and 12 of the affidavit duly sworn on 16th April, 2025.

Stand over to 28th July, 2025.
