By this petition, the Petitioner has challenged the notice dated 12 February 2019 issued under section 148 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 seeking to reopen the assessment for the assessment year 2012-13. When called out, the learned counsel for the Respondent seeks time to take instructions and file reply, if necessary. 2.
We have perused the petition and the grounds made out to challenge the impugned notice. Since a prima facie case is made out and since the Respondents also seek time at the outset, there shall be ad-interim stay to the impugned notice dated 12 February 2019. Stand over to 26 February 2020.
