The present petition is filed by the petitioner challenging the order dated 26/06/2018 passed by respondent No.1-Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Gadchiroli, whereby his caste claim for Mana Scheduled Tribe is rejected.

The learned counsel for the petitioner filed Civil Application No.1186 of 2025. He placed along with the said application the judgment of this Court in Writ Petition No.279 of 2020 (Vaibhav s/o Chandrashekhar Dadmal v. Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Gadchiroli and others) dated 25/03/2025. The petitioner therein is cousin of the present petitioner. This Court declared that the petitioner therein, i.e. Vaibhav Chandrashekhar Dadmal belongs to Mana Scheduled Tribe and accordingly directed

2/3 the Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Gadchiroli to issue validity certificate in favour of the petitioner within four weeks. In view of this judgment, the Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Gadchiroli issued validity certificate in favour of Vaibhav Chandrashekhar Dadmal. The matters of Vaibhav Chandrashekhar Dadmal and present petitioner were decided by respondent No.1-Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Gadchiroli by common order. 4.

In view of the judgment of this Court in Writ Petition No.279 of 2020, the petitioner herein is also entitled for validity certificate that he belongs to Mana Scheduled Tribe. Though the petition was opposed by the learned AGP on the ground that the petitioner has not succeeded to satisfy the test of affinity and in view of area restrictions, he has not made out claim for caste validation, however, in view of judgment in Writ Petition No.279 of 2020 filed along with application, we are of the considered opinion that the petitioner therein is blood relative from paternal side of the petitioner. As such, the petition is allowed.

The impugned order dated 26/06/2018 passed by respondent No.1-Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Gadchiroli is hereby quashed and set aside. 6.

The respondent No.1-Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Gadchiroli shall issue validity certificate in favour of petitioner within a period of four weeks.

The petition stands disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
