Learned counsel for the applicant states that, after filing of this application, the N.I.A. has taken over the investigation. He seeks leave to amend to add N.I.A. as a party respondent.

Leave to amend is granted for that purpose. Amendment shall be carried out within a period of two weeks from today.

17-ba-399-20.odt taken this view in Criminal Bail Application No.2024 of 2021 vide order dated 11/06/2021 based on the Hon'ble Supreme Court's Judgment in the case of State of Andhra Pradesh, through Inspector General, National Investigation Agency, Vs. Mohd. Hussain @ Salim, as reported in (2014) 1 Supreme Court Cases 258.

In view of this order and the Judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, office to take steps to place this matter before the Division bench, after the amendment is carried out by adding N.I.A. as a party respondent.
