Learned Advocate for the petitioners, on instructions, states that the petitioners shall deposit 50% of the bill amount with respondent No.1-MSEDCL within two weeks from today. 2.

The statement is accepted as an undertaking to the Court. 3.

In view of said undertaking, stand over to 24 March 2025 to enable the petitioners to deposit the amount. 4.

Till 24 March 2025, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioners.

However, it is made clear that in case the petitioners fail to deposit the amount, not only the writ petition will be dismissed, but the Court may adopt coercive action against the petitioners for giving undertaking, which they never intended to comply with. 6.

It is obvious that in case petitioners succeed, appropriate directions to refund the amount shall be passed by this Court. (AMIT BORKAR, J.)
