Heard learned counsel for the parties.

By an order dated 23rd March 2021, this Court had disposed of the earlier Petition filed by the Petitioner directing the Respondent No.1 to decide the representation made by the Petitioner within two weeks. In the meantime, the Petitioner was directed to deposit 50% of Rs.19,19,684/- demanded in terms of the order dated 15th December 2020.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the said amount was deposited. In fact, the representation thereafter came

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that he will be satisfied if the Petition could be disposed of in terms of prayer clause (b) of the Petition. The Appeal filed against the order of the Commissioner is pending before the Respondent No.1. 4.

We have heard learned AGP who opposed the Petition. 5.

As we find that the 50% of the amount in terms of the order passed by this Court is already deposited and lying with the Respondents, this Petition which is of the year 2024, filed in 2021 can be disposed of by directing the Respondent No.1 to decide and hear the Appeal filed by the Petitioner finally within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order. The Petitioner to remain present along with the copy of this order before the Respondent No.1 on 4th March 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Till the Appeal is finally heard and decided, the impugned order dated 19th July 2021 shall remain stayed.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
