16-IA-6817-25.doc PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION NO.33 OF 2018 4.

We have heard Mr. Pandit Kasar for the Petitioner. 5.

The PIL-Petition was filed in the year 2018. In view of the distance of time since the petition was filed, the subsequent events will have a material bearing on the foundational facts which need to be placed on record to effectively deal with the reliefs claimed. No purpose would be served by proceeding with the PIL-Petition as then filed. Hence the PIL-Petition is disposed of with liberty to the Petitioner to file a comprehensive Petition placing on record material subsequent facts if the cause survives. Keeping liberty and all contentions open, the Petition is disposed of. ( M. S. KARNIK, J. ) ( CHIEF JUSTICE ) rsk 2/2
