On 2nd January 2025, following order was passed : "1.

Ms. Shringarpure, learned Counsel appears for the Petitioners and submits that this Petition seeks guardianship of a person of 51 years of unsound mind. She, however, submits that she is unable to contact the Petitioners and that, therefore, this Court give four weeks time to take appropriate instructions and to ascertain the whereabouts of the ward. 2.

Mr. Takke, learned AGP appears for the RespondentState of Maharashtra and also submits that some time be granted to take appropriate instructions, whether certain check-ups are necessary under the law.

Mr. Takke, learned AGP, appears and submits that the ward in respect of whom the Petition for guardianship has been filed is in Madhya Pradesh, the Petitioner No.1 is also from Madhya Pradesh, only Petitioner No.2 is from Mumbai and the subject immovable property is also located in Mumbai. Mr. Takke submits that therefore the Petition ought to have been filed in Madhya Pradesh and not in Mumbai and that he will file appropriate response to the Petition. 4.

Let reply to the Petition be filed within a period of three weeks, with a copy to the other side. Rejoinder, if any, in two weeks thereafter, with a copy to the other side.

List on 6th March 2025. It is made clear that if none appears for the Petitioners on the next date, this Court will assume that the Petitioners are not interested in prosecuting the Petition and dismiss the Petition.
