In this writ petition, the petitioner has assailed the validity of the order dated 23rd August 2021 passed by the National Green Tribunal, Pune Bench, Pune.

Against the aforesaid order, an appeal lies under section 22 of the National Green Tribunal Act, 2010 to Supreme Court. In view of the availability of the statutory, efficacious and alternative remedy, we are not inclined to invoke the extraordinary and discretionary jurisdiction of this Court. 3.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to take recourse to the remedy, if so advised, under section 22 of the National Green Tribunal Act, 2010. (M. S. KARNIK, J.) (CHIEF JUSTICE)
