The learned Advocate General states that the compensation by taking into consideration the provisions of the new Act has already been paid to the Petitioners. Mr. Joshi, learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that the compensation as paid is not in accordance with the provisions of new Act, but there is a short fall. 2.
Accordingly, the Land Acquisition Officer (LAO) to file affidavit before this Court explaining clearly as how the compensation has been paid in terms of the provisions of the new Act. Such affidavit to be filed within two weeks from today and the copy of the same to be furnished to the learned counsel for the Petitioners. If the Petitioners
wish to file any rejoinder, the Petitioners are granted liberty to do so. 3.
The matter is now posted for further consideration on 5th January, 2021.
