Heard Mr. Joshi, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D. Pangam, learned Advocate General for the respondents. 2.

Mr. Joshi, learned Counsel, states that a copy of this petition will be served on the office of the learned Advocate General in the course of this week.

We post this matter for further consideration on 08.12.2020. By then, the parties to explore the possibility of sorting out this matter since it is pointed out by Mr. Joshi, learned Counsel, that in principle the State has agreed to pay the petitioner compensation in terms of the new Land Acquisition Act. He pointed out that some compensation has in fact been paid but, according to the petitioners, some components have been excluded.

According to us, this appears, atleast prima facie, a matter of calculation. Therefore, it is only appropriate that the parties seek and try to sort the issue of calculation and try to minimise the same to the extent possible.
