Heard the learned Advocate for the Petitioners. Considering the limited prayers advanced in the course of his submissions, we are of the view that the Writ Petition can be disposed of at the stage of admission.

The grievance of the Petitioners is that they are suffering

monetary loss on account of the application of the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioners invited our attention to the representations made by the Petitioners at pages 25 to 58 of the Petition. He submits that the last representation was made on 23rd November 2022. He therefore prays that appropriate directions be issued to the Zilha Parishad Authority to decide the said representation.

Ms. Indrayani Patil, holding for Mr. Kegal Lad, learned Advocate appearing for Respondent No. 4, fairly states that the representations made by the Petitioners shall be decided on their own merits within a period of four weeks from today. 5.

In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following directions:

(i) The concerned Authority of Zilha Parishad, Kolhapur, shall consider the Petitioners' representation dated 23rd November 2022 on its own merits and in accordance with the applicable Rules and Government Resolutions.

The said Authority shall decide the representation within a period of four weeks from today.

(ii) The Petitioners are at liberty to file a comprehensive proposal along with necessary documents to substantiate their claim.

All contentions of the parties are kept open. 7.
