This Application seeks leave to amend the Petition. We have perused the Application and we are satisfied that this amendment is necessary for deciding all the issues that arise in this Petition.

Ms. Raje, the learned AGP for the Respondents-State, submits that the Respondents have objections, mainly regards the merits of the averments that are sought to be introduced. Merely by granting leave, we are not either accepting or ruling on the objections. All such objections are expressly kept open. Such objections can as well be raised by filing further pleadings. 4.

Therefore, by keeping open all the Respondents' objections, we allow this Application. Leave is granted to amend the Petition in terms of the Schedule. Amendment to be carried out within two weeks from today. Copies of the amended Petition must also be served upon the Respondents within two weeks from today. 5.

If the Respondents wish to file additional pleadings, they are granted liberty to do so within four weeks of the receipt of the amended copy of the Petition.

Interim Application is disposed of.
