Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

The applicant seeks to intervene in Writ Petition No. 14589 of 2024 on the ground that the acquisition which is challenged in the Petition is inter alia for the benefit of the

applicant. The applicant claims that a portion of the acquired land has been allotted to him.

The learned Counsel for the applicant points out that the applicant has also filed an independent Writ Petition No. 9904 of 2016 in which the Petitioner in the present Petition is impleaded as a Respondent.

Therefore, considering all the above facts and circumstances, we allow this application and direct the Petitioner to implead the applicant as a Respondent. Mr Sumit Kate states that he will appear on behalf of the applicant/Respondent in this Writ Petition. The Petitioner to carry out amendment to the cause title forthwith. Reverification is dispensed with.

Interim Application is disposed of.

WRIT PETITION NO. 14589 OF 2024 6.

Mr Bodake, without prejudice to his contention that this Petition was already served on the Respondents agrees to furnish an additional copy to Mr Dighe within a week from today.

Mr Dighe states that a reply would be filed and served latest by 7 March 2025. Rejoinder if any, to be filed and served by 17 March 2025.

If any other Respondents, including the newly impleaded Respondent wishes to file reply, they should also file and serve the same by 7 March 2025.

List the matter on 21 March 2025.

Tag Writ Petition No. 9904 of 2016 along with this Writ Petition.
