The learned counsel for the petitioner fairly relies on the decision of this Court in Om Shri Sai Co-operative Housing Society Vs. AMOL PREMNATH JADHAV State of Maharashtra & Ors. and other connected matters1. In this view AMOL PREMNATH JADHAV Date: 2026.04.23 18:44:45 +0530 WP/3140/2019 decided on 23rd December 2025
48-WP-3966-2025 with WP/4804-2025 of the matter, the issue regarding the rent which is raised in this petition can be decided by the Special Cell. The petitioner to appear before the Special Cell and file an appropriate application regarding the rent as well as the accommodation within a period of two weeks. The Special Cell to consider the application expeditiously in terms of the order passed by the Court in Om Shri Sai Co-operative Housing Society (supra).

Writ Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Writ Petition No. 4804 of 2025 3.
The Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) to file its reply within a period of four weeks. The copy of the Writ Petition shall be served on the learned Counsel for the SRA.
