1) By an Order dated 26th September 2019 the Additional Collector (Encroachment / Removal), Western Suburbs, has directed the competent Authority to decide the Application of the Petitioner for eligibility to the slum rehabilitation scheme of Sai Durga Cooperative Housing Society, Khotwadi, Santacruz West, within a period of three months. 1.1) Record clearly indicates that, though the Petitioner had filed said Application with the competent Authority immediately, in last more than 5 years the same has not been decided.

Osk 29-Wp-4495-2024.doc 2) We therefore direct the competent Authority to decide the Application of the Petitioner for his eligibility as per the provisions of law in the said Cooperative Society, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of present Order, without seeking any extension in that behalf. 3) Petition is partly allowed in the aforesaid terms.
