We have heard Mr. Ramamurthy, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr. Mishra, learned counsel for the respondents on this petition filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India.

After the petition was heard for some time, and after perusal of the letter dated 24 September, 2018 (Exhibit-'X', page 101), learned counsel for the petitioner weeks leave to withdraw this petition with liberty to the petitioner to pursue any other appropriate alternate remedy, as may be available to the petitioner.

Allowed to be withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. 4.
All contentions of the parties in that regard are expressly kept open. 5.
Interim application would also not survive. It stands disposed of accordingly.
